Hi, I just discovered and joined the list, so this is my first posting. I'm stuck on Mary Ann (Polly) PILES, b. c. 1815 somewhere in KY and married in 1833 to Jacob SWISHER in Vermilion Co., IL. Mary Ann's mother (also Mary, maiden name unknown) had remarried to a James RUCKMAN in Vermilion Co. by the time of Mary Ann's wedding. Various other PILES b. in either KY or IL lived near the Ruckmans in Vermilion Co. in the mid1800s, according to census data.
