Dear Cousins, My Pyle ancestor was Peter Pyle. By 1860, he was listed in the Census for DeSoto Parish, LA, where many of his descendants remain today. He married Madissie Bridges on 23 July 1843 in Floyd Co., GA. This was a second marriage for him; I think his first was to a Davis. There is still Texas oil money being held for descendants of this first marriage, if they can be found. Anyone have any idea who his parents were?
