Hi. Catherine I have some Pyle family in Christian Co. Ky. They are descended through James Pyle Sr. of Orange County NC. I believe that some of the other Pyle's in Christian Co.are descended through Dr. John Pyle there has been no proven connection between these two families. George W. Pyle, son of Levi Pyle moved from Marshall Co. Tn to Christian Co. Ky I think sometime after the Civil War, also I believe that his brother Doctor Franklin Pyle moved there but eventually moved to Missouri. I tried you web site but I couldn't get through. If you find any connection to my George W. Pyle I sure would like to talk to you about it. Hi Robert: I am always in my site and there should be no reason that you can't get in unless you have a very slow connection and since the page is large, it takes some time to open? Yes, my line is descended from Dr. John Pyle from NC, who went to SC, died there and then his wife and kids moved to Christian County, KY I have much information on my site about the line, going back to England too, but it won't help you if you can't get in. I've not seen the name George anywhere in our lines... but it could be a branch that went off on it's own, like it sounds like yours did.
