Hi Everyone, I was very excited to find a list dedicated to the Pyle family!! My grandfather was George Elmer Pyle (he went by Elmer) and he was married to Beatrice Overholt. Our family is from Sherbrooke Township, Haldimand County, Ontario Canada (near Dunnville). I'm just starting my search for ancestors. I believe Grandpa Pyle's father's name was John, but there are a number of John Pyles who lived in the area, so it may be difficult for me to trace my roots.
