Joe -- No connection so far as I know. My ggrandfather, Edward DeGusta was born in GA than moved to AL. We have recently identified his father as Nicholas, but without my paperwork (not here in the office) I can't tell you the middle initial (I know there are several Nicholases). Gus and my grandmother had 12 children, 10 of whom lived to adulthood. His first wife brought 3 children to their marriage, and added 4 with Gus, making 19 in all, so it's a considerable sized group. We were down at the end of June for a family reunion, and were delighted to learn that one of my great aunts (Gus's daughter-in-law) is still living at age 92. Met lots of cousins! -- Nancy
