I have seen a lot of data on the net over the past few years about Bishops Canning. I have a more rudimentary problem. My family migrated across the south during the 1800s and I can't make a connection at all to Europe. I can go back to GA easily, and then to SC without documentation, but how they came from England, I don't know. It would be easy to say they came from the Philadelphia brothers, or the Pile that came on the Ark and Dove expedition to MD in 1634, but it is pure conjecture. Maybe some day... By the way, I was in Ann Arbor for a time at the University. What part of MI are you in? -----Original Message----- From: Larry Roy [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, July 07, 2000 5:27 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [PYLE] Pyle family in England Hi, to you. Thank you for your offer of help. My Pyle family, John was born in 1594 Stanton, St. Bernard, Wiltshire, England. Death 12-22-1651 Bishops Canning, Wiltshire, England, buried 4-19-1652, Bishops Canning, Wiltshire, England. I have no idea if this is the area of England that is your part of the world. I have found on the Pyle site of where John is buried. But I would have to find it. I printed off a lot of the information, but haven't organized it all yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
