Hi-- I just received further information on A.A. Pyle's mother. Apparently her maiden name was GRANT and she married Marion Swingle 14 March 1874 in Cedar Co. Missouri. I still need to verify this but it fits (so far) with the family lore I have. Hope this further information rings some bells for someone out there. Thanks for your help.
