Joe -- So far as I know, I am not related, or shall I say, I know of know connection between him and "my" line of Pyle folks, which is the St. Clair, County, Alabama branch. My grandfather was a member of the Marine Corps pistol team in WWI and was stationed in the Virginia suburbs of DC. When his enlistment time ended, he stayed in this area, having already met and married my grandmother. My grandparents had just one child, my late father, and from my research, we seem not to be related to others (at least not so far) in this general area, including the Scranton, PA -area Pyle families and others in VA and MD. But, then it's always possible that there is additional information "out there" that will prove differently... One of my sisters lives in Montgomery County and her three sons attend the county schools. Are you in this area, or have you moved on? -- Nancy
