Pyle Family, Looking for my g-grandfather from New Castle, PA. Don't know first name, but was a brakeman or conductor on the RR that ran from New Castle to Erie, PA. Married a Pollock (sp ) whose family was in the bakery business 6 children: Dave,Louis, Peter, Norris, Joe, and Nell Dave was pres. of New Castle Tin Plate Co. Joe was a brakeman on the same RR and his wife thought music at Westminster College. Joes' daughter was involved with the New Castle Historical Society. g-grandfather had a brother that lived outside New Castle in a small town name ( Schoustown ) sp.? My grandfather Louis was born about 1880 in New Castle on Oct 16th. That would make his father born about 1850. Hope someone can help. Thanks Bill Pyle Bill Pyle [email protected]
