James, Here are the birthdates of our Pyle siblings as I have them: 1. Nicholas, 1794-c. ca 1867 in Kaufman Co., TX 2. Abraham, 1795- d. aft 1860 in Stewart Co., Ga. 3. John, 22 Feb 1796- d. 6 Jan 1869 in Kaufman Co. 4. Samuel Eason., 24 Nov 1797- d. June 1841 in Sumter Co., Al 5. Thomas, 1800- d. bef 1850 in Caddo Par., LA 6. James B., 1804- d. aft 1866 in DeSoto Par., LA 7. Peter, 1809- d. Oct 1879 in DeSoto Par. 8. Sarah Ann Pyle Westbrook, 1812- d. 1844 in Miller Co., AK I believe you have Samuel's dob a little too late also, (1770-74, don't know where that came from originally). Charity was born in 1762 according to 1850 census and I doubt she was that much older than he. She was listed as 88 years old on the Stewart Co., GA. census living with Abraham. 1800 (Oglethorpe Co., GA) has her 26-45; 1810 (Jasper Co., GA) still 26-45 and 1820 (Henry Co. GA) is 50-60. They don't appear on the 1830 although we know Samuel is still alive living in Henry Co. He bought/sold land after 1830. Charity drew in the 1832 land lottery as a widow. The 1850 census stated that John was born in GA, 1860 said SC. I take the info on the census' rather lightly in some cases. :) Thanks for all this "digging", Doris
