Bill, I might be interested in the Canada connection of the Pyle family. I am at a standstill with my search. My great, great grandmother was Harriet Atwood Pyle, b. 13 November 1824, in Maine. Her parents were Unknown Pyle and Margaret Farleigh. Harriet Atwood Pyle married George Arthur Russell Hughes. She died 24 September 1908 in Humbolt County, Iowa. The 1900 Census of Kossuth County, Iowa, shows that her parents were from Pennsylvania and Canada (I don't know where each parent was from). Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
