I have been going to answer some of his queries but just found that John Lindley's property was sold 11 Dec 1790 in SC & it lists Sarah <Pyle> Lindley & a William Pyle as purchasers. As most of you know Sarah Pyle Lindley was a dau. of Col. John Pyle & I feel this William Pyle was her bro. who went to Christian Co. KY with that group. If naming patterns hold true , George I would sure look at this William Pyle son of Col. John Pyle, Nicholas was a name this family used often. Hope this helps someone. Pat Oates in TX.
