I have been attempting unsuccessfully for over 20 years to connect my ggg-grandfather Levi PILE, b. 1824, TN, who lived in Fentress Co., TN, to the Coonrod PILE family of Fentress Co., TN. Evidence leads me to believe that the two families are somehow connected, but I have not yet found the exact connection. This is why I am interested in finding out more information about Coonrod's family, including his ancestry.
