Hi Frank and everyone, It was just a lull in the list. No one missed anything. <G> So, maybe we need to do some postings. Sara [email protected] [email protected] wrote: > Ron, Are you saying that there have been messages? I haven't seen any > also, but I just thught it was a lull. >
Ok, since there has been a lull on the list, I will try once more to see if anyone will help me find the family/ancestors of my ggg-grandfather. Here goes again: Cedron/Sidron P. or C. Pile/Pyle, b 1804 somewhere in Kentucky. He married twice: (1) Unknown. Their children included: William Milton Pile, b 1840 in TN. Sarah Etta Pile, b 11-18-1845 in TN. She married Robert HUDSON in Harrison Co., TX in 1859. Milo Smith Pile/Pyle, b 7-24-1847 in TN. He married Letha A. BUNCH, b 1853 in TN. They moved to Cherokee Co., TX. Cedron's first wife must have died. He married (2) Juliann BOSWELL FREEMAN, b 1808 in KY, widow of Alexander FREEMAN of TN. About 1848, they and others in the Freeman family made the trek from TN to TX. Children born to Cedron and Juliann were: Thomas C. Pyle, b 1849 in Harrison Co., TX Rufus Rastus Pyle, b 7-4-1854 in Harrison Co., TX. He married Harriet Rachel BARTON, b 1857 in MS, dau. of Hiram BARTON and Sarah TURNER. They moved to the Gilmer, Upshur Co., TX area. Can someone please connect my Cedron with one of the Pyle families that are being researched??
