I ran across James Pyle's will signed and sealed on April 15, 1820 in Orange County, North Carolina and proved in August 1823. His wife was named as Sarah Pyle. He mentioned 7 children in the will. Sons: William, Isaac, Caleb, Joseph, John. Daughters: Whittention, Rachel Cook. He also mentions his grandsons Henry, son of Caleb Pyle; Moses, son of Isaac Pyle; Garrett, son of John Pyle; and his great grand daughter Rebecca Pyle. Does any one have this link of the Pyle family? I am wondering if this could be my great great grandfather William Pyle. He would have been 18 years old in 1823 and could have left North Carolina and gone to Sumner County Tennessee where he married in 1825 and where his four children were born. I have been searching for my gg grandfathers parents for years and this is the first time a James Pyle has been in the picture. Can anyone help me here? George [email protected]
