Sorry for the late comment: But my gr,grandfather, his brother was James and he had a twin. And it goes back Ratliff Boone Pile to Daniel Pile of Orange Co., N.C. Coonrod Pile. And I've been told of German Ancestry or Penn-Dutch, Black-Dutch. I wonder if it could go back to Nicholas Pyle & Abigail Bushnell, cause Bushnell is German I would think and my gr, grandfather Henry Louis Piles changed the ( i ) to ( y ) and dropped the ( s ) and I know the last name was changed a lot on the account of the kidding. I have an cousin that's in direct line , so where would he go to compare his DNA? The Pyle DNA weblink is http://web2.airmail.net/pyle/<about:blank> . I am a clear descendent of Coonrod/Conrad. The DNA results show I am unrelated to the Bishops Canning group (Nicholas, et al) to my line. I hope more folks will do the DNA test so we can continue to clarify some of our theories. --Stephen Pile ----- Original Message ----- From: Carl Woods<mailto:awlrac@sunflower.com> To: PYLE-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:PYLE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, May 28, 2004 8:41 AM Subject: Re: [PYLE] James and Conrad PILES of Orange Co NC; late 1700s Sorry for the late comment: But my gr,grandfather, his brother was James and he had a twin.
