My g-grandfather was Jeremiah Pyle. Probably known as Jerry. He was ousted from his family for marrying out of his religion. We assumed it was catholic but that was just an assumption. We found a poem and note in a frame that said to our dear ones, Jerry Pyle Died April 15, 1882 aged 39 years and 3 mths. and Anabell Pyle Died May 28 1877, aged 3 yrs. He married Laura Fidler and they had 3 living Children.Abslome Aliba b. Aug. 29,1877 in Ks.,Nella Eliza b. Jan. 28 1875,in Neb and Birt or Bert Alfred b May 3, 1882 in Ark. Jeremiah was killed in a mining accident one monthe before Bert, my grandfather was born. Bert was married 3 times, his last wife being Flora Manning. He was supposed to have had a son by one of his other wives. Flora and Bert had 2 sons, Ernest and Wesley. Wesley was a dwarf and died in a car accident when he was 21. The story was that they origanilly came from Pa. There was also talk of some one going to visit a cousin in Neb. who had 7 sons. Does anyone know anything about this lost branch I am hanging from?
