Hi Gerald, He might be listed with them because at age 16 yrs. old he was probably working for them. My ancestor's children had to leave home at an early age to 1) either help out with the income and work elsewhere or 2) get married and get out on their own. They usually had huge families in those days and probably when they were old enough to earn $ they were out of the household.
