Hi All, I wanted to jump in on the MARY PYLES / PILES info as she is my 2X Great-grandmother. She was born 12 August 1829. Died 22 December 1881 of old age. Her parents were HUNTER PILES / PYLES & NANCY FORTNEY. Her death certificate is found in book 1858-1920 page 4 line 2. I have a copy if anyone would have need for it. She was married to FAIRFAX PELL and they had 6 children. I also have a picture of the tombstone for Fairfax and Mary Piles/Pyles Pell from the Damon Cemetery in Newburg, Preston Co. WV. I will also be happy to share the picture. As an addition note, "The fever" was rampant in Preston Co in 1881 which may have contributed to her death.
