Going back over my e-mails I found the following will was posted to the Greene Co, PA list in May. Does anyone have any more info on this Thomas Rinehart? I'm trying to find out if his son Thomas married Jane Jones and had a daughter, Evaline Rachel who married Felix Pyles. I, Thomas Reinhart, of Franklin Township, Greene County, and State of Pennsylvania, yoman, being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling unto mind the mortallity of my body, do make and ordain this, my last will and testament in manner following. I recommend my soul into the hands of Almigty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christen buriel at the discretion of my executors and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise, and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. First. I give and bequeath to Hannah, my dearly beloved wife, the sum of thirty pounds, good and lawfull money of Pennsylvania to be raised and levied out of my estate, besides hir third that the law allows, and I also give and bequeath to my beloved son, John, one hundred and sixty two acers of land which he now lives on and also I give and bequeath to my son John one two year old heffer that I got from granmother, and I also give and bequeath to my other sons, Thomas, William, Joseph, Jesse, Arthur, and Levi all my land and tenements, gods and chattells and household furniture to be equally divided as they come of age, and I also give and bequeath to my daughters Elizabeth and Hannah, two hundred dollars each to be paid as follows: Each is to have one good horse creature, a saddel, and bridel to be vallued at twenty five pounds each. And the remainder to be paid in houshold furniture, to be paid as they come to the age of twenty one years or to get married and to be paid out of the estate of the above named. Thomas, William, Joseph, Jesse, Arthur, and Levi and in case of the death of any or either of my said children, in their minority, unmmarried and without issue, then I do order and direct that the legacy or share of such child or children so dying shall go to and be considered as a part of the residue of my estate. and in case that Hannah, my wife, should incline to marry after my deceace, that the estate that I leave her shall go to my children at her deceace, and I also give and bequeath to my daughter Marget one cow and likewise I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy one cow. And likewise I costitute William Inghram Esq. and John Reinhart, my son, to be my executors of this my last will and testement and I do hereby utterly disallow and revoke all former testaments, wills, legacies, and executors. ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
