I am new on the Pyle List and have been reading messages on the list. At this point I have not found a link to my family line. I am trying to find the parents of my great great grandfather. William Pyle/Pile, born 1805 in North Carolina. I know, just how many William Pyles can there be? He married Margaret Allen in Sumner County Tennessee on June 16, 1825. On his marriage record he was recorded as William Pile. They had four children: David Monore Pyle, born May 26, 1829; died October 6, 1887; married Sarah Ann Boyd. She died December 4, 1881. Fountain Pitcher Pyle, born about 1832; married Susan A. Lindsey. Mary E. Pyle, born October 21, 1834; died April 30, 1893; married John E. McCord. Joseph F. Pyle, born about 1836; married Lavena Ann Bowan. With the exception of Margaret Allen, all of the above were listed on the Christian County Kentucky 1850 Federal Census. Thanks, George
