Byron Wayne Pyles Byron Wayne Pyles, 93, of Chesapeake community, Fairmont, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at home. He was born June 6, 1907, in Daybrook, son of the late Lawrence and Maude Henderson Pyles. He was a member of the Miracle Revival Center. He had been a farmer and retired as a night watchman for the city of Rivesville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sporting events, whittling, playing cards and collecting coins. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mildred Radcliff Pyles; a daughter and spouse, Juanita and Thomas Willard, of Fairmont; a son and spouse, Earl and Kathy Pyles, of Chesapeake; six grandchildren and spouses, Brenda and James Miller, with whom he li ved, Tom Willard Jr., Melissa and Roger Suter, Kim Willard, Todd Pyles, and Malinda Pyles; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Martha Pyles, both of Fairview. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Shirley and Robert Pyles; two sisters and spouses, Rilla and Clifford Yost and Ruby and Homer Mason. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends may call at Frey Home for Funerals from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday. Service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, with the Rev. Johnnie Mae Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Brenda Miller
