Hi Jim, You didn't address this to me but I am searching the "Hib"/Carter S. line also. According to the 1880, 1900, and the 1920 census, Hib was born in Kansas and his father was born in Illinois. According to Hib's death certificate he was born in Missouri. I am inclined to believe the census records as they are consistent. Hib's date of birth is October 2, 1864. I don't know Carter's date of birth but I think Treece had written 1834. Treece, do you have anything different?
