They were the daughters of Colonel John Pyle & Sarah Baldwin. Colonel John Pyle died 1 Jan 1804 in Chatham County, North Carolina Samuel Hall was a child of John Hall & Mary Pyle Nancy Steele was a child of Thomas Steele & Nancy Ann Pyle. Samuel Hall married Nancy Steele in 1802 in Chatham County, NC. Samuel Hall & Nancy Steele had a child named Susan Hall. Susan Hall married Edward Woollen, Jr. They had a child named Nancy Woollen . Nancy Woollen is my maternal great-grandmother!!

Do you know off hand if the Pyle book you cited has any entries for the Wheeling, WV area, specifically marriages between Pyle women and the Van Meter family? I have a Van Meter ancestor who is said to have married three Pyle women.....two sisters and a sister-in-law. Thanks for any help.
