Hello - I am new to the Pyle list and looking for information on John Pyle, b. 1/16/1818, d. 6/19/1906 in Pennsylvania. I have not been able to determine which of the many Pyle families in Pennsylvania to which he belongs. He was married to Sarah Small, b. 1821, d. 1849. They had one daughter, Susannah Pyle, b. 1849. Susannah married George Augustus Clark and they are my great-grandparents. Sarah Small was the daughter of John Small and Jane Bevington. The Small (Schmahl) family was from Germany.
