Hi Jim, Just a thought... On the back pages of the Pyle Family book where Dr. Andrew Jackson Pyle line is located he is called "The Old Indian Doctor" I have often wondered if there are any records of his patients perhaps family who could have married Native Americans. Seen group pictures in the book and some of the AJ Pyle line and see no natives in them. Choctaw Chief Pyle's native blood came from his mother. Have searched the Dawes Rolls and other native rolls there are some Pyle. When I get time see what I can do on all the look ups I have been promising to get for you all. The Fort Smith, Arkansas library has a wonderful genealogy department also the Hanging Judge Parkers records can be searched I have been told with appointments. Oh how I would love to get involved with the local historical group. There is a city director named Ken Pyle but he is always out of pocket I think he has some stuff on his line. Oh yea, went to see a movie last month seen an actress on the big screen named Missi Pyle. She is from the Houston, Texas area. Check her out on one of the search engines. I know sorry TMI....TOO MUCH INFO... later, Tammy
