Pyle Sr. alongside of Dr. Chester Pyles and they are identical, as well as the picture of my son Ronnie and Leonard Piles. I'm hoping to find a tie between the families from Virginia and these from Maryland. Any comments will be appreciated. I have been working on this line for sometime and believe they are the same. My great-grandfather William Pyle and his brother Samuel [grandfather to Ernie Pyle] were with Edward Gant Pyle at Sutter's Fort, California around 1850.
