Steve, Please count me in also. I have not participated much, because I know that my Pyles came to Ross County, OH from PA in 1805, and William was the only one that stayed. I have read all of the msgs that have come to me, but can't seem to connect to anyone. Nevertheless, I want to be in on this information. Thank you for including me. Connie Carnes wife of Don E. Hi, I don't think we are related, but wish we were. I have been trying to find George's family for years with no success. My George was born 1813 near Phoenixville, Pa., married Mary Jane Wilson at Cincinnati, Ohio 1840, moved to Godfrey, Illinois where he was chaplain to the Monticello Female Academy. My Gr. Grandfather was born 1843 and George was dead by 1845. Mary Jane was pregnant with her second child, George, who was born at Cincinnati after the death of her husband. There were no more children. Theodore was the only surviving child. Theodore had 2 children, Mary Amelia and Theodore. It is possible that the Rev. George had siblings but have been unable to find out names of them. Good luck with your search. This George is certainly not the good Reverend, but perhaps a descendant? My grandfather was born in Butler, Bates Co. MO and died in Arizona. He was survived by one sister and one brother whose names may have been Adrienne E. Pyle and Glen E. Pyle. Just started researching my Pyle ancestors.
