She was born on October 4, 1908, at Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio, the daughter of Frederick Wiley Pursell and Maude Jane Seifert. She was the widow of Howard E. Wentz II who died in 1976. Also predeceased by a daughter, Sally Jane Wentz; and two brothers, James and Robert Pursell. Survived by son, Howard E. (Martha) Wentz III; two granddaughters, Cindy Rausch (Ronald) Riegel and Karen (John) Boley; 6 great grandchildren - Michelle, Sarah Jane, Jill, Douglas, Jacqueline and John Adam; a brother, Francis (Virginia) Pursell; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pursell and Gretchen Pursell; a brother-in-law, Elmer Loew; and several nieces and nephews.
