At that time I was corresponding with a Mr Bernard Persell by letter. I have been unable to reestablish contact with him and wonder if any one of you older researchers knew him, he was a wealth of information about the the Persell lines. I believe I am descended from a John Persell of Huntington England d.1680 Long Island NY father to: William Persell Bn 1660 England Dd 1728 New Town NY father to: Nicholas Persell bn 1696 Long Island NY. Other related lines are: Peters, Kool or Keel, Hanse, Jans,Van DerVoort or Vanderwoerd, Staats, Rappalje. I have some earlier names but am quite unsure of the accuracy. I would very much like to establish email correspondence with some one about these and related lines and perhaps learn what became of Mr Persell.
