He was born on October 28, 1932, at Coudersport, Potter County, PA, the son of Frank Willis Pursell, Sr. and Margaret H. Chaundy. Survived by his wife, Sally Hoffman Pursell, of Sybertsville, Luzerne County, PA. Also survived by a brother, Robert Pursell, of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Blanche Evancho, of Weatherly, PA; 3 sons, Shawn, Kevin and Heath Pursell, at home; and several nieces and nephews.
