Maxine Thank you so much. I really do appreciate this. Is this an index that you got this information from? I would like to get more details about David Hope. I believe that he is my David, but I need to find out from the marriage registration if it is possible who his parents were, and where in Canada he was born to be sure. Can you advise me how I would go about this. Although I have quite a lot of experience searching for records in Ontario, I know nothing about searching in the US. Is there somewhere I can write to get this inforamtion? Any help greatly appreciated.
