One of the planned events this year for the 100th anniversary of Christ Church is an Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social at Noon on Sunday, Aug. 10th. Beat the heat, bring the kids [a magician etc. will be present] and meet members of the Centennial committee. One of their projects has been a collection of oral histories [we have at least one living member over 100] many of which have been quoted in the church newsletter over the last year or so. The Ice Cream Social is for fun and some fundraising. It's cheap entertainment at $3 for adults and $2 for kids, plus if your family was ever a part of the church, you can touch base again.
