COMMENT: I'd love to go to this one as I've been wanting to see that fabulous museum up there. but I just attended the Class of 1944 Reunion of Snohomish High School grads which was a lunch bag, BYOBag- and it was well attended by say 50-60 students who try to remember what it was like when they were young. I get invited to the Class of 1943 because that is the Class that I should have grad with (good lang. eh?!);then I get invited to the Class of 1944 cuz they know I have a lot of friends among them and enjoy the comraderie; then I naturally go to my Class of 1945 cux that's the one I actually was able to grad with ( very good lang. eh?!); but I don't tell any of them that a flunked 3rd Grade and should have grad with the Class of '42 but my best friend and I both flunked 3rd Grade - I guess cuz the teacher thought we were dumb. (She only lasted 1 yr. at Central School when she must have been "canned" but that didn't help my friend and I who have grown up from diaper days and live on the same side of the Street in Snohomish just 4 blocks apart, and have been Best Pals all our lives.) I have enjoyed going to all those Reunions and I have my Class of 45 Reunion to go to Aug 8, just 3 days before I celebrate our 53 yrs of marriage. Well, one of these times I will have to make it up to the Pioneer Museum at Arlington as it surely is a large invitingly designed building in that neck of the woods. * * * 30 * * * Then, Skykomish, WA celebrates their Tunnel Days this coming Saturday 9 a.m. in Skykomish which is loc. 30 mi. east of Monroe, WA on Hwy 2.
