    2. The burial permits were required by law. You might be able to narrow it down if you check Session laws for the period of about 1895 - 1910. I have some of the Session laws at our web site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wapsgs. Click on the link for Laws. It may not actually be at the site, but this will give you at least an idea of what to look for. In the current laws, you want to look at the RCW titled "Human Remains."
