REMINDER: CIG abt "The Master Genealogist Software" on 7 Feb 04 February's Seattle Genealogical Society Computer Interest Group program will be "Introduction to The Master Genealogist Software." Our speaker is Ed Godfrey, Leader of the Seattle Area TMG Users Group. The first part of Ed's presentation will cover the basic design of TMG: basic concepts; starting new projects (databases); importing data; and setting personal system preferences and screen layouts. The second part will illustrate data entry and editing; adding new people, new events and source documentation; adding photographs and other images; and producing reports and charts. NOTE: The SGS CIG monthly meeting has changed to a NEW DAY (first Saturday), NEW TIME (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM), and NEW LOCATION (National Archives second floor conference room). The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is located at 6125 Sand Point Way NE, just across the street from SGS. The SGS CIG meeting is held in the second floor conference room. Parking is available in the NARA lot. On the Metro Transit #74 and #75 bus lines. Stairs and ramp available to NARA's front door.
