Want info re ALBERT MAURER, particularly while living in Seattle, WA area. Albert Maurer was in Seattle area from 1917-18 until his death (there) in June or July 1924. Albert Maurer was b.25 Apr 1868, Wilton, IA to Benedict Maurer (wife: Elisabeth Marolf). Albert never married. Albert, with John B (Johannes), Carrie W. (Karolina), and mother, Elizabeth Maurer, came to Great Falls, MT abt. 1889-1890. Originally Albert and John owned a Cash Store in Great Falls, but John sold out about 1897. Albert sold his store in 1917-8 and went to Seattle, WA. He (evidently) remained there until his death in July 1924. At that time, John went to Seattle to accompany Albert's body back to Wilton, IA for burial. Carrie married Edmund Setzepfandt in Sep 1897, in Wilton, IA. Edmund had come to Gt.Falls in 1890.
