    1. Re: VETERAN'S DAY, 1998:
    2. Oh, I didn't know there was a "forum" for evangelization. I thought we were to go into all the world and preach the gospel. That is the purpose of the Bill of Rights, so we may do that. And that is one of the reasons our veterans fought the wars - against Communism - international or at home. Tyranny is the enemy of the Gospel, whether it comes in the clothing of "agendas," "forums" or any other death machines. Christians are alive. It is written, and thus commanded: Quench not the Spirit. And the Spirit speaks expressly and at all times, and everywhere, I believe, as the Saviour said, "...the wind bloweth where it listeth..." Perhaps you need a more thorough reading of the Scriptures. And perhaps of the history of our wars. I would suggest you study the life of Alvin York, old Methodist, and see the glory of the soldier of Christ. Ritual is the death of the saint. By the way, where would you say the "appropriate place" is? And yes, you are mistaken.
