Charles Dana Gibson, NY illustrator, and creator of The Gibson Girl illustrations, turn of the century, and illustrator of social/political life in America, oftentime the aristrocracy, wrote to my Grandmother Grace I. (Gibson) Clark yearly as they were 1st cousins from MA. Relatives in my direct Line Gibsons were: ERRINGTON, CUTLER, GATES, WOODWARD, GOSS, PUFFER, TREADWAY/TREDWAY, DAVIS, NOURSE, DAMON.
