>From the Washington death index I have located two deaths that pose possibility in my search. However, I don't need certified death certificates, nor am I certain that either are the correct person. Is there a way to determine what information is on the death certificate before I purchase a copy? I'm looking for a clue on the death certificate - for instance his birth state, (which I have) - to check to see if the deceased is the same man I'm looking for.
