I just now read each of the Veteran's Day messages that have gone through PSRoots and I'm quite upset to see the way things have gone. I apologize for not getting to this yesterday. Mr. Lowe is correct and his statement has 100% of my support. This mailing list is for discussing genealogical topics relating to research/researchers in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. This is not a forum for anything other than the topics covered in the welcome message you all received when you first subscribed. The sentiments regarding our veterans in the current conversation can be recognized and confirmed in many of us here. I don't mind a brief mention of something like our veterans, especially on the day we set aside to recognize them. However, I do not endorse the length of the messages that have passed through here and I do not endorse the course that the conversation has taken. This is definitely off-topic/off-track for the mailing list. Let's drop the topic now and move on with discussion of our genealogical research.
