In 1969 I visited someone in the old Seattle General Hospital location downtown, just before it moved up to First Hill, merging with Doctors' Hospital. In 1984 I worked for the University of Washington in the former Doctors Hospital building, which had been taken over by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). My office still looked like a patient hospital room. The _King County Medical Society Bulletin_ has frequent historical articles. I'm sure the topic of Seattle General Hospital is covered.
