    3. Goodness, I hope to God no-one thought I was saying anything against Carroll!!!! I was hoping that it would be clear that what I was trying to do was stand up for his right to post what he did!!!!! If anyone else received a negative impression, I apologize - particularly to Carroll. But what I was trying to say was if anyone had spent the time to read or even skim through what Carroll posted they would see he explained why his post was felt to be related to genealogy. I respect Carroll, and appreciate his contributions to not only this list but to genealogy as a whole. I also appreciate his commitment to causes he believes in.
