Hi...on page 268 of the Stillaguamish Valley and Snohomish County Pioneers, the new book published by the Stillaguamish Valley Gen. Soc. There is the following listing: John Ives McCarty Sr. born 01 August 1895 in Sultan, Snohomish Co, Wa, the son of Jerry McCarty (born 1859 in Boston Bay Co., MA) and Julia TAYLOR (born about 1862 in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN). John married 26 October 1944 in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA to Margaret A. JOHNSON, daughter of Clarence Emory JOHNSON and Sarah Margaret SPRAGUE. Margaret was born 25 Jan 1911 in Windsor, Henry Co., Missouri. John Sr. died 29 May 1950 in Seattle, King Co., WA. He was buried in the Sultan Cem., Snohomish Co., WA. 2 Additional Generations were listed John Ives McCARTY Jr. and then his children. Pioneer Certificates issued to John Ives McCarty Jr, Mathew McCarty and Erin McCarty. (in other words...these are living people and are known to the Stillaguamish Valley Gen Soc.) My Snohomish County database (small) has these burials from Sultan Cemetery. The lady who transcribed them was Clara Matthias. They are grouped as listed.
