FYI: There is a new site for Carman Family genealogy and if you are interested, you may subscribe in the usual manner by Carman-Roots-L-request@rootsweb.com with the usual subject in the text to automate the subscription, & of course unsubscribe when you wish to unsubscribe. I subscribed to the D or digest version by inserting the D in place of the L or List version. The Carman Family dates from 1631, John Carman from England to the New England areas; MA, briefly CT., lots of Long Island, N.Y. (around Oyster Bay, Hempstead and various N.Y. locs.). They intermarried with so many Surnames that this could be a good site for many of you to really reach around your genealogy. I can include more surnames re this in the near future if anyone is interested. This was a very prolific genealogy in the early times, and very active, however they are somewhat undercover these days, so it is great to see some of them come out publically with their fine gen. FMI: (For my info.) - I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can tell me of some sites,on the computer, especially around Puget Sound for either Selling or Buying things. Sort of Swap or Swop & Shop. I have a number of items I wish to offer for Sale but don't want to put it on here. I wish not to discuss such items I wish to sell via e-mail personally rather than on PSR, for instance. Just contact me via my Juno addr. I have large from a '71 Volvo automobile to medium items such as furniture, to much smaller items of various interests that I need to clean out or swap for. Mainl;y clean out, LOL !!! I've heard of these sites, but need some mainly in the Puget Sound area. Thank you, Carroll of Snohomish. * * * 30 * * * _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
