Hi, I have a question regarding Tide Land Classification. In the will of Dennis Hurley he has property that is described as Tide Lands of the second class suitable for the cultivation of Oysters. I think this property was acquired in the early 1890's. What does second class mean? How many classes are there? Were second class tide lands sold by the Federal or State Government?
