    3. Hi Andi and everyone on the list, I know of two of the representatives on the list below, but they don't know me and I am not one of their constituents. I don't think it would hurt to send messages to other legislators, but what I chose to do was contact the two reps from my district (who know me), tell them that this legislation is important to me as one of their constituents, and ask them to support it. I happen to know that one of the reps on your list is a buddy of one of my reps. I told mine that I'm a family historian in my spare time and that family historians have a strong affinity for well-run graveyards. I also told them enough to assure them of Andi's credibility as the person giving me this information. The most powerful voices come from the reps' own constituents - be sure to include your address when you send email to your representative. However, getting mail from foreign countries and far away states always makes a good story - so those of you far from Puget Sound might like to lend your voices. You who are local might like to check to see if any of these representatives belong to you. Go to http://dfind.leg.wa.gov/ - the Washington State District look-up page - put in your ZIP + 4 and it will tell you your representatives. There is so much to do to record and preserve graveyards - we don't need unnecessary obstacles. Diane Hettrick 32nd Legislative District dhettrick@earthlink.net Andrea D.
