BOOKSTORELADY- 3rd. St Book Exchange 1615 3rd., Marysville - right down the St from the Dutch bakery-be sure and stop in at the Dutch Bakery - you won't be disappointed !!!!<GBG> Then due E (away from the main intersection) about 3 blocks, N side of St. is the Din (not Den)Din of Iniquity for books North of Snohomish. Darilee is a sweet, but busy, lady who knows her books, and genealogy. Be sure to see The Shelf - a Loft full of genealogy, the likes of which, you would not expect to see. She may have your high school annual, so don't be afraid to ask. You'd need 3 days of P E R U S I N G (by golly, I spelled it correctly for a change and left that U for an E !). Be sure to have her show you her PROJECT that she is doing on cemetery records, how well she is organized in it, and how much she has already accomplished. With all those books!, you'd wonder how she has time, but she MAKES time - bitten completely, and irretrievably by the gen bug, and she has taught the subject well. When you get there, be sure tell her that the Ol' Coot in Snohomish sends her a big ((((((((((((((DL)))))))))))))), and that is sure to roll her sox up & down. Allow plenty of time, and have Fun, as it will be an Adventure! but you will come away from there Inspired and full of gen talk and smiles. This is a recommended outing for any gen enthusiasts - don't forget about the Dutch Bakery just down the street toward town to top it off! By golly, I looked it up in the phone book, and it IS called The Dutch Bakery 1513 3rd, Marysville. I just called it that because it was easy to refer to. Ya gotta take a number, it is that popular. One wk days, you can get fresh made sandwiches, pastry, etc and sit in there in real European Nederlands atmosphere. This is NOT an ad, it is PURE unadulterated genealogy w/o prejudice of any sort. No politics, propaganda, inuendo, just pure, free-spirited g e n e a l o g y ! Any similarities to the living or the dead, is purely implied. <grinny> Tell em Carroll the Coot sentcha !
