I wrote an article to PSRoots about Bobbie ILLMAN and her talented ancestry. 5. She was a descendant of a paternal GF from Eng. - he engraved the 1st US Postage Stamp; other banknote fine engravings for the US Govt.. 6. Barbara, Bobbie, taught art to many talented persons in the Puget Sound area, and was a recognized NW artist of National acclaim. 7. She was a grad. of Snohomish High, and a good friend, as she was to all who knew her. 8. She died as the result of a l o n g battle with cancer - always positive right up to her last breath. 9. Bobbie passed away about July or August of this past year. 10. A letter from Everett Community College from Lowell G. Hanson, Director of Northlight Gallery, ECC states her students, friends, and of course kin are invited to an open house in memory of Bobbie Van Skiver at the Northlight Gallery.
