Dukes were from NC around 1780, to TN in 1825, to MO 1859, to Baker Co. OR in ?, then to Yakima Valley around 1912. Some allied families were in Snohomish and Seattle areas, Samson, Stephens. Other allied names were Vincent, LeFever, Patton.
